JIM COSSEY A LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHER AND FULLY QUALIFIED DRONE PILOT BASED RIGHT IN THE HEART OF THE BRECON BEACONS NATIONAL PARK.
Before becoming a professional photographer, I packed up my suitcase and headed off to the French Alps for 3 years. I ran Ski and Mountain Bike chalets throughout the summer and winter months. It was one of the best experiences of my life and made me appreciate the seasons and landscapes around us.
I have recently moved to the beautiful Brecon Beacons National Park to reconnect and draw inspiration from the beautiful surroundings.
I feel compelled to capture the beauty that is all around us whether in the warm golden light or the quiet dead of night surrounded by a trillion stars. I aim to capture emotion and meaning both in the wild corners of our island and in the heart of our bustling cities, my aim is not only to satisfy my clients but to share something remarkable in our day to day life.
I am also proud to be a Panasonic Lumix Ambassador.

Upcoming Lumix Talk at the Photography Show 2019
I’ll be back again this year at The Photography Show 2019 NEC Birmingham on the Lumix stand which will be the biggest ever and I’ll also be on The Outdoor stage giving my talk about how I use the Lumix system to capture my landscape images regardless of the size of the sensor.
I’ll also be talking about my adventures wild camping and my visit to the beautiful Lofoten island in Arctic Norway.

I hope to see a few of you there :)
I’m really pleased to share with you a recently shot documentary on my love for photography and the outdoors but also dark side of social media and how spending time outdoors for me re-ignites the spark for my photography and the search for new compositions. Shot and edited by my good friend and cinematographer Dom John in collaboration with Lumix UK. Shot on location here in the beautiful Brecon Beacons.
Back in June of this year 3 creative mates embarked on an unsupported bikepacking adventure across the Scottish Highlands carrying everything they needed and staying in remote bothies along the way. Here is the trailer for the up coming adventure short that will be making it's way around the adventure film festivals soon. I have put together a few pictures from the trip click here to see more.
